Probably, the most-heard sentence in the society is, “I feel like a failure.” Whether it’s a business loss or a study failure, it’s a failed relationship or a life disaster; we hear a lot of people uttering the same sentence many times. It’s natural for a human to be disappointed when he doesn’t receive any good outcome of the things he has been expecting. In the situation, when he gets disappointed, he begins to feel like a failure. When this feeling happens in a person’s life more often, it becomes a stage of depression. This situation drags a person to the worst phases of life where he starts hating his own life.
Why do I feel like a failure?
Most of the time, it is observed that the people who visit the psychiatrist ask them, “why do I feel like a failure?” it mean that the people suffering from depression or anxiety are also fed up with feeling like a failure. They also want to know about the answer to this question. There are many reasons to feel like a failure. In childhood, grades of the school may make you feel like a failure, sometimes a loss in business, sometimes a defeat in a sport, sometimes a broken relationship. All these are the primary reason for feeling like a failure. If you are facing any one of these reasons, then you may feel like a failure.
Failure in college:
Here comes the primary reason for depression in younger children of the generation. We see a lot of children ruining their lives to win the race of grades that can’t be a future-defining entity for them. We also see many parents around us who pressurize their children to get the flashing grades in their studies. Unfortunately, many children also have to face severe domestic violence for not coming with flying colors. It is the worst face of reality.
Grades are the bone of contention:
All the parents who think that grades are all that their children need to have a bright future must be told that grades matter but not that much. We see many college students attempting suicides with the fear of being beaten by their parents for not earning good grades. How ridiculous is it! Isn’t it? That you don’t even care for your child’s health but his grades and flying colors. When the parents discourage their children because of marks in examination, they begin to feel like a failure in college. It affects his performance in college and his confidence also. You should give them the freedom to do whatever they like to do. You should never punish them for having bad grades; instead, you should encourage them to do better next time. This attitude will bring your children towards a successful life instead of a dark, silent, and meaningless death!
Failure in life:
As we all know that life is not a bed of roses; it is full of problems and adverse conditions along with god ones. In this life, we have to face a lot of bad things and events to happen. We can’t stop them from happening. What we can do is to counter them with more exceptional courage and patience. Sometimes, we feel like these mishaps are potent than our courage, but that’s not the truth. There is nothing substantial than your courage and will power. You can defeat every single thing that bothers you the most in life. Some people lose heart and surrender in front of life’s problems. That’s the worst practice ever. They begin to think, “I feel like a failure in life” they leave trusting their abilities and capabilities and get defeated by the problems at last.
In the final analysis, you must not follow those people who throw their weapons in front of problems. If somehow or the other you have to face some harshness of life, you don’t have to be worried about it. You shouldn’t lose hope and start blaming your destiny. Instead, sum up all your energy against that problem. You should not stumble in front of that problem and tame it down. Don’t let the difficulties of your life overwhelm you. Beat them all and be a warrior instead of being a victim of depression!
